
A born change agent with a passion for lifelong learning and exploration, Beth combines more than 20 years’ experience in strategic communication, organizational change and executive coaching with a rich background in the performing arts, adult learning and community-based development. She is dedicated to helping clients harness the full power of their wisdom, expertise, aspirations and creative potential to achieve major breakthroughs and measurable results.
Working independently and through alliance partner, Allen Advisory Group, Beth has served a wide range of clients, including KPMG International, Deloitte, Schindler Elevator Company, Citco Group, Mesirow Financial, Dodger Stage Holdings and Tony Blair's African Governance Initiative.
Before launching Browde Communications in 2001, Beth headed strategic communications for Ci2i, a venture-funded ASP; served as manager in the Business Strategy practice at Answerthink Consulting; and headed firm-wide communication at KPMG.
Also active in the not-for-profit world, Beth provides pro-bono consulting services under the auspices of the Taproot Foundation and has traveled with delegations from American Jewish World Service to meet with NGOs in Peru, Cambodia, Tanzania, India and South Africa. In 2004, Beth began working with Dr. Jeffrey D. Sachs (director of the Earth Institute at Columbia University and Special Advisor to the United Nations Secretary General), to help engage individuals, communities and the business sector in supporting the Millennium Development Goals. In 2009, Beth served as a consultant to Dr. Sachs and the Earth Institute in Tanzania, responsible for launching a new Millennium Village Project on the island of Pemba, Zanzibar.
Beth’s writing has appeared in Harper’s Magazine, New York Magazine, the Journal of Leadership Studies and other business publications. Her plays have been produced off-Broadway and in regional theaters. She holds a certificate in Executive Coaching from Columbia University, an MFA in writing from Columbia University, a Master of Music degree from Yale University, and a BA in music and political science from Mount Holyoke College.
